I designed a poster, brochure and postcard to celebrate and inform the public of AIGA’s 100 year anniversary. The layered letter forms references the depth of time AIGA has been dedicated to design education and excellence.
Amy's Organic Rebrand
I used engaging language, clean type, bright and bold graphics to re-brand Amy’s organic food. This is to attract customers from across the isle to the freezer door or the shelf of soup at the grocery store. All of the colors are inspired by ingredients in their products. This re-brand of their product line is fresh, bright and displays an organic reference as well as the character of their flavorful products.
This began as an exploration of the material cellophane. The color, texture and transparency informed my content and format of a rock poster and merchandise for Metric's latest album, Synthetica
Book Cover Exploration
After working on collages for weeks with a kit of parts consisting of a limited selection of color, photography, typefaces and illustrations, I developed a collection of imaginative book cover designs. These designs were informed by the materials, tools and titles of the books.
This is a collection of various designs that explore new and exciting ways to experiment with manual and analogue typography. Some of these materials and techniques include modular type, painting, patterns block printing, and hand lettering.

VEGfest Poster Series
This is a poster series I designed to celebrate and attract people to the 2013 DC VEGfest. I used a friendly color story, veggie type, half tone pattern and typography to give these posters a warm and engaging feel.
I created a set of patterns based on people’s collections as a way to approach portraiture. The repeated imagery emphasizes the countless objects and the structure of their organization system. I studied three people and hung a portrait for each person in the Re:Collect exhibition. The Pattern Portrait book features multiple patterns and stories behind each person. By observing the patterns and reading their stories you get a better understanding of who each subject is.
InterWeave is an exploration of the relationship between letterforms/ text with the pattern and texture of textiles. This book features photos of my original weavings, and textile work as well as original painted illustrations.
Ellicott City Art Walk
This is the logo and Brochure design for the 2013 Ellicott City Art Walk. This brochure includes a map as well as a fold out poster featuring all of the art locations. Ellicott City is full of history, small shops and an up and coming art scene. I chose to design a modern logo that references the past as a way to convey the contemporary art scene within a historic town.
